Connie

According to a recent article in Air Classics magazine, an ex Trans Canada/Air Canada Lockheed Super Constellation that until recently was on display At Toronto International Airport is now undergoing restoration at Empire Aero in Rome, NY. It's being restored on behalf of the Museum of Flight in Seattle, WA and once it's restoration is completed hopefully by the end of the summer, it will the then be dismantled and transported to Seattle for display (the method of transport is yet to be determined although the author feels that something like airlifting by AN-124 would be the best method as opposed to a long cross-country road trip). I personally saw this plane in Toronto when it was being used a conference facility outside the Regal Constellation Hotel (a venture that failed) and if you want more info go to

Fort Campbell Kentucky

Within the last week nine troop charter flights left Fort Drum bound for Fort Campbell, Kentucky. They consisted of a Champion Air 727-200, an AirTran 737-800, three ATA 757-200's and four ATA 737-800's. Also the weather in the area has been very bad with numerous rain/snow showers and temps between 10 and 40 degrees F.
