Airline Troubles

Recently, due the soaring cost of fuel and the bad economy, many airlines have announced massive cutbacks in service with some cities like Toledo suffering the pullout of an airline or the loss of a route/reduction in frequency. So far Syracuse has managed to avoid most of that mess with Pittsburgh being the only route lost and that route only had two 33-seat turboprop flights a day and PIT is no longer hub anyway. New York LGA has also gone down in frequency but that's more to do with competition from Jetblue at JFK than anything else. US Airways has in fact added a midday 90-seat CRJ-900 flight to Charlotte to their two A319 flights. The fall schedules look to stay the same as they were last year.
