Transaero

Last week Transaero's first 777-200, a former United example which was previously painted in Royal Brunei Airlines colors (for a deal which fell through) was delivered to the russian carrier from Empire Aero's Rome, NY facility.
8/14/08 Diversions
There were a few diversions into Syracuse today with a pair of Delta 757-200's from LA and San Francisco and a pair fo AA Md-80's from Dallas and Chicago.
Tunica, Miss
Today there was Allegiant Air MD-80 charter flight that arrived from Tunica Muni Airport. This flight was probably a gambling junket as the only commercial airliners that fly into there are charters connected with the casino's in the area. The Tunica airport itself is relatively small with one 7000 ft runway and a small terminal and some parking area for light planes. It's located east of Mississippi river just south of Memphis Tennessee.
